Bio

Nancy comes from New England, where people are snotty and sarcastic (as is she). She ran away to California when she was in her late 30s with a man (didn’t work out), and a couple decades later ran away to Portland, Oregon, to take advantage of the relatively sane real estate market. She has been an illustrator in traditional and digital media, a journalist (ditto), a brand consultant, and a freelance copywriter. She has also been a long distance cyclist, day hiker, swing dancer, songwriter (unpublished), and early music alto chorister. She now lives with Mishka, a young Kuvasz (big white lifestock guardian dog) and Phoebe (a youngish long-haired dilute calico with dental issues). She likes working over the Internet so she can be with them all the time.

If we talk by telephone, we may be drowned out by barking. One client said, “What is that, a Rottweiler?” No, silly, he’s too white and fluffy.
