Applied Materials Brand Proposal
During a brand update, Kurt's client's boss said, "Why are we even doing this?" Kurt called me and said, "Can you write an explanation? Today? So I can send a send a deck tomorrow?" I went in to see the materials he'd collected, riffed on key points with him, and wrote it up in a couple of hours.
IMPACT Event Guidelines
IMPACT is Schwab's big annual convention for investment advisors. For this one, held during the financial crisis, I helped
develop the event theme, then wrote brand guidelines that extended the theme verbally and explained how to use all the brand elements. The surprisingly positive brand excited and inspired advisors—some keynotes even used the language in their speeches.
VMWare Event Brand Guidelines
VMware was an early leader in Cloud computing, and their annual IT conference was a major industry event. They came to us with a theme: Your Cloud. Own it. I helped expand on that theme in these brand guidelines by writing additional brand language. I also explained what the visual elements meant and how to use them.
